Refund Policy
Clearer billing and cancellation expectations for HostingCPU customers.
This policy is intended to reduce ambiguity around refunds, cancellation timing, and the categories of products that are generally non-refundable.
1. Refund Requests
Refund requests must be submitted through the official HostingCPU billing or support channel. Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically create or guarantee a refund. No customer has an automatic or unconditional right to a refund except where required by law or expressly approved by HostingCPU in writing.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Unless required by law or expressly promised in writing, the following are generally non-refundable: domain names, renewals, setup fees, software licenses, control panel licenses, migration work, custom administrative work, dedicated server provisioning, third-party products, and services suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, or policy violation.
3. Service Use and Partial Use
If a service has already been provisioned, partially consumed, materially used, or resources have been reserved or committed for it, HostingCPU may deny or reduce a refund request to reflect consumed value, setup effort, third-party cost, payment gateway cost, tax treatment, support time, administrative work, or operational expense.
4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting resolution through HostingCPU support, we may suspend affected services during review and may require reimbursement of payment dispute fees and associated losses where permitted by law.
5. Processing Time and Legal Reservation
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment route where possible. Banking delays, processor rules, currency conversion timing, card network procedures, and compliance checks may affect the actual time it takes for funds to appear. Any indicative timeline shared by HostingCPU is an estimate only, not a guaranteed settlement deadline.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right a customer may have under applicable Indian law, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, this policy governs how HostingCPU reviews commercial refund requests for business, institutional, and enterprise services purchased through hostingcpu.com or related channels.
